Larry Creasy, Principal     Mr. Larry Creasy, principal of the new Stewarts Creek Middle School, has an extensive background in middle school education and administration. Mr. Creasy began his teaching career at Smyrna High School before moving to Siegel Middle School when it opened in 2001. He served as a 7th grade Social Studies teacher and assistant football coach. The following year he moved to Smyrna Middle School to become the assistant principal. He was able to return to Siegel Middle School in 2004 as an assistant principal as well as athletic director. Mr. Creasy credits his time at both Smyrna Middle and Siegel Middle as excellent preparation for his new position as principal of Stewarts Creek.
     Mr. Creasy and his wife, Stephanie, have been married for seven years. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Carrington and Reagan. His hobbies include golf, riding his jet ski, and spending time with his family. The Creasy family attends Belle Aire Baptist Church in Murfeesboro. Some of his favorite sports teams are the Tennessee Titans and the St. Louis Cardinals, along with MTSU and UT. Mr. Creasy says he is thrilled to be chosen as the new principal for Stewarts Creek Middle and is looking forward to working with the great students, parents, faculty, and community.


Trudy Collins, Assistant Principal     Trudy Collins, assistant principal at Stewarts Creek Middle School, has been in the field of education for thirty-one years.  She started out in the Madison County School District where she taught kindergarten and first grade, middle school communications, and middle school language arts.  She moved to Rutherford County ten years ago and taught language arts and reading at Smyrna Middle School and Siegel Middle School.  Then she was a School-Based Technology Specialist at Rock Springs Middle School before becoming an assistant principal at Smyrna Middle School and Siegel Middle School. 
     Mrs. Collins has been married to Rick Collins for thirty years.  She is proud to have two daughters and two sons-in-law, Brooke and Danny Travis and Blair and Chuck Akers, and two grandchildren.  Mrs. Collins enjoys spending time with family and friends.
